美国本科最常用的申请系统Common App（简称CA系统）公布的2021-2022主文书题目，这是五年来第一次更新一个题目。

题目1：Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story. （无变化）
译文：如果你认为自己的某些特征，比如背景、身份、兴趣或天赋，是你不可缺少的一部分，它们会帮助你全面地展现自己，那么请分享属于你的故事。
题目2：The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience? （无变化）

题目3：Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome? （无变化）

题目4（新题）：Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?

题目4（旧题）
Describe a problem you've solved or a problem you'd like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma - anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution.
译文：描述一个你已经解决或想要解决的问题。可以是智力挑战，研究调查，道德困境——任何对你个人来说非常重要的都行，不论大小。解释它对你的重要性，以及你是如何一步步找到或计划找到解决办法的。
题目5：Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. (无变化）

题目6：Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more? （无变化）

题目7：Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design. （无变化）
